One sign of the need of tyre replacement is the decline in performance. This is more noticeable in wet weather, your vehicle may not grip as well as it once did, or you take longer to stop when applying the brakes. There are tread markers within the tread that let you know when your tread has fallen to the legal limit of 1.6mm. By this point its vital that you have your tyres changed.
